Fresh from our show at East Leeds FM in an old converted church, Junior Star Singer Songwriter then had the chance to be broadcast from a cosy pub in the beautiful city of York. 2 Rivers Radio was started by Jez Russell who decided to set up a radio station in the back of a pub............and why not? We're not sure whether it has been done before but it certainly is a unique idea. The public can grab a drink and enjoy a friendly broadcast in their home city on a Sunday when they broadcast so it's got a very cosy feel to it.
